Coaches at TFA FOIL fencing Coach Mark
Jones. Mark Jones is a Foilest that started with Tampa Fencing
Academy 14 years ago. In that time, he has been honing his skills and teaching students.
For the past 10 years
he has been an assistant coach at TFA. He still
competes in Florida tournaments and holds a C rating with about
45 medals on his wall. (Actually, in a box on the shelf.) Many say that he uses a very classical style that puts emphasis
on the fundamentals of footwork, balance, distance and technique. Professional Coaches at TFA Alexander Bondarenko (Sasha).
Fencing coach with 36 years experience specializing in foil. Alexander Bondarenko attended
Sports University of Saint Petersburg Russia from 1974 to 1978. He graduated with masters degree in fencing and started training
children and adults. His students competed in a lot of championships and won such big titles as: Middle School Champion of
Sports in USSR, High School Championship of USSR, Junior Champion and a Prize Winner of Russia and many titles in champions
of Stavropol Region where he was from. Currently specializes in individual and group foil coaching.
